AI phone assistant — an agent on your business line that actually talks.
An AI phone assistant is a voice AI that connects to your business phone line and speaks naturally with whoever calls. Tel Asistan AI goes live without changing your number: it answers the incoming call, calls the people on your list itself, writes the appointment or order into your system while still on the phone, and hands the conversation to someone on your team when that is the right thing to do.

What does an AI phone assistant do?
An AI phone assistant takes on the work an agent does on a business line: it answers the call, works out what the caller wants, answers the question and completes the task during the conversation. There is no keypad menu; the customer explains the problem in their own words and the assistant replies just as naturally.
- Your existing landline or mobile number is forwarded in; the number does not change.
- It answers inbound calls and places outbound calls itself.
- It can be set up in English, Turkish, German, French, Spanish or Italian.
- Mid-call it can send your price list, location or a document over WhatsApp.
What does AI phone assistant do? It does not just talk — it finishes the job.
Natural spoken dialogue
It relies on conversation, not scripted lines. With more than one language defined it switches to the language of the person it is speaking to, mid-call.
Inbound and outbound
It answers the ringing phone, and it also calls the people on your list for confirmations, reminders or announcements.
Recognises the caller
It works out who is calling from the number; if you have spoken before, it carries on from where the last conversation ended.
Acts while talking
It writes appointments into your calendar, takes orders, and tells the customer their order and delivery status.
Transfers to your team
In the situations you define it connects the call to the right person, giving them a short spoken summary first.
WhatsApp during the call
What it explains on the phone it also sends in writing, so the customer has everything they need once they hang up.
How is AI phone assistant rolled out? Three steps.
- 01
Connect your line
Your number is routed to the assistant over SIP forwarding; no new hardware or switchboard is needed. A new number can also be provisioned if you prefer.
- 02
Decide how it speaks
Choose the greeting, the voice, the tone and the situations in which it should hand the call to you; load your price list and frequently asked questions into its knowledge base.
- 03
Go live and see every call
Every call arrives in the dashboard with its recording, full transcript and summary. You can listen to a call in progress and take it over when needed.
Staff-only call handling versus an AI phone assistant
Who is it for? Anyone who runs their business over the phone.
Single-line businesses
The second and third caller are answered too while the line is busy; nobody hears an engaged tone.
Organisations with a switchboard
Routing by conversation instead of a “press 1 for sales” menu.
Taking orders by phone
Restaurants and takeaway: capturing orders and table bookings without missing the busiest hours.
Appointment-based work
Clinics, salons and technical service: booking, rescheduling and cancelling completed on the call.
Businesses with foreign customers
Hotels, travel and health tourism: greeting callers in their own language, reporting in yours.
Teams with heavy outbound
Confirmation, reminder and information calls made without assigning staff to them.
Frequently asked questions about AI phone assistant
Do I need to buy a switchboard or any hardware?
No. The system is cloud-based; your existing number is connected by SIP forwarding, with no server, card or extra line required. If you already have a switchboard it stays in place: either all calls or only the overflow calls can be routed to the assistant.
Does it get names, addresses and dates right?
Before acting on anything that will be saved — a name, date, time or address — the assistant repeats it back to the customer for confirmation. If a detail was recorded incorrectly and the customer corrects it on a later call, the assistant updates it and the change is logged in your dashboard.
Does it only answer calls, or can it make them too?
Both. It answers incoming calls, and it also calls the people on your list within the days and hours you set — for appointment confirmations, reminders, campaign announcements or voice surveys. A customer who says “call me later” is called back at the time they asked for.
When does it hand a call to one of my staff?
You decide: specific topics, known customers, or anything the assistant cannot answer. Before transferring it gives that person a short spoken summary of the conversation; if nobody is available it records the request and notifies you immediately.
Are phone calls recorded?
Yes. Every call is recorded and transcribed; the summary, topic category and sentiment stay searchable in the dashboard. Call data is held in an isolated area that belongs only to you and is processed under data-protection rules.
Hear it first, then decide.
